Situational awareness is simply defined as your mental picture of what is going on around you. It involves picking up information and cues from the environment, using it to predict what might happen next and determining whether your safety is at risk. In a dangerous situation, the quicker you are aware of a threat, the greater your chances of keeping yourself and your loved ones safe. This free workshop combines lecture from subject matter experts with the review of past incidents captured on video to teach class participants on improving the identification of threats and effective methods of response
